BSL interpreting, answered

Yes. Every assignment is fulfilled by an NRCPD-registered interpreter (Registered Sign Language Interpreter), qualified to a minimum of Level 6 in BSL/English interpreting or equivalent. We book exclusively from the national register.

On-site BSL interpreting is £235 for up to 3 hours, then £70 per hour, or £495 to £595 for a full day. Video relay BSL is £65 to £80 per hour. Travel is billed at cost for face-to-face bookings, and Access to Work claims are supported.

Yes. We support Access to Work claims for workplace BSL interpreting, provide detailed invoices and can liaise directly with DWP. Employers can claim up to 100% of interpreting costs.

Yes. BSL interpreters can join Zoom, Teams and Google Meet calls. Video relay is ideal for remote appointments, virtual meetings, or when face-to-face is not possible.

One week's notice is recommended for standard bookings. Urgent cover within 24 to 48 hours is often possible with a surcharge. For medical and legal settings, book as early as you can so a specialist interpreter is available.
