Accessibility Statement

Our commitment to making this website easy to use for everyone

Last updated: 24 September 2026

Our commitment

Lingo Service Translations Ltd wants everyone to be able to get a quote, place an order and contact us on lingoservice.com. That includes people who use a screen reader, a keyboard only, screen magnification or voice control.

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.

How accessible this website is

This website partly meets WCAG 2.2 level AA. We tested it on 24 September 2026 and fixed the most important problems on the same day. The problems we still know about are listed below, with what we are doing about them.

What you can do on this website

  • Get a quote, fill in the checkout and track your order using only a keyboard.
  • Hear the price read out by your screen reader each time it changes.
  • Fill in the quote and checkout forms, whose fields are labelled for screen readers, with error messages read out.
  • Jump straight to the main content with the first press of the Tab key.
  • Use the chat with a keyboard and close it with the Escape key.
  • Stop the moving reviews strip by turning on reduced motion in your device settings.
  • Read our main pages, get a quote and pay in 8 languages, including Arabic, which reads from right to left.

What is not fully accessible yet

  • Some buttons and text, mostly in our orange, do not have enough colour contrast. We are moving to a darker orange that is easier to read, starting with our main pages, and we are fixing the other colours too.
  • Some links inside paragraphs are shown by colour only, without an underline.
  • The moving reviews strip on the home page has no pause button yet. It stops while you hover over it or move keyboard focus into it, and it does not move at all if you turn on reduced motion.
  • On very narrow screens or at high zoom, a few cards can run slightly off the edge of the screen.
  • The card payment form and the PayPal button are provided by our payment partners, Mollie and PayPal, so we cannot fully control how accessible they are.
  • The certified translation PDFs we deliver may not be fully readable by screen readers. If you need an accessible version, ask us and we will provide one.

How we tested this website

On 24 September 2026 we tested the main pages and the full ordering journey with automated accessibility checks and by hand: keyboard only, screen-reader labels, zoom and reduced motion, on a laptop and a phone, in English, Arabic and Welsh.

We will review this statement by March 2027, and sooner if we make major changes to the website.
