Public bodies buy translation from Lingo Service through four routes. Your procurement team can use whichever fits the value and urgency of the work.
Crown Commercial Service RM6200
Lingo Service Translations Ltd was appointed to the RM6200 Artificial Intelligence dynamic purchasing system in August 2026. Public bodies can use it to buy AI-assisted language services from us, such as machine translation with human revision and live interpreting, by call-off competition or direct award.
Direct award below threshold
For work under the public procurement thresholds, most councils and trusts raise a purchase order against our written quote. We return quotes within one working day and invoice on 30-day terms.
Call-off contract
A short standing agreement with a rate card and service levels, so any department can order without a new procurement each time. Typical for Welsh language duties, resident communications and recurring patient information.
Your own framework or DPS
We respond to tenders and dynamic purchasing systems from individual authorities and NHS bodies, and we hold the certifications and insurance those questionnaires ask for.

Quality standards
ISO 9001 (certificate 217132/B/0001/UK/En) and ISO 17100, which requires independent revision of every translation.
Security

Employer's liability, public liability and professional indemnity, 10 million pounds each, plus cyber liability cover of 1 million pounds.
