Farsi is the Persian of Iran. Dari (دری) is the Persian of Afghanistan: the two are close enough for speakers to understand each other, but Afghan documents use their own vocabulary, document types and issuing bodies, so we handle them on a dedicated page with translators from Afghanistan.
